ELITE TOURNAMENTS TO CONTRIBUTE TOWARDS MARKETING AND OPERATIONS EFFORTS FOR EXISTING EVENT

COLUMBIA, MD – Elite Tournaments has signed a new agreement with FC Boston to partner for the 2017 Scorpion Bowl, taking place April 13-15. This event will be played in the greater Boston, Massachusetts area at top notch turf facilities. The Scorpion Bowl will welcome all boys and girls competitive travel teams ages U09 through U18 and provide those teams with a three game guarantee.

Last year’s Scorpion Bowl brought 350 teams to the region, including ECNL, NPL, NEP, and Maple Representation teams. Combined with top level referees from USSF, this event serves as both a college showcase and recruiting opportunity for the older age groups. Timing is ideal for teams to prepare for spring leagues and face off against top caliber teams from Region I and Canada.

“Elite Tournaments is excited to be able to partner with the Scorpion Bowl and FC Boston.  Their organization did a fantastic job in 2016 by making the Scorpion Bowl’s first year a great success. We hope to add to that success by using our knowledge and ability to provide a first-class tournament experience.”   -Matthew Libber, VP of Business Operations, Elite Tournaments

The Scorpion Bowl will provide substantial insurance coverage to ensure that all teams are given full refunds if there are cancellations due to weather.  With additional housing coverage through Halpern Travel, there is very low risk to teams wishing to attend these events, but concerned about potential weather conflicts. Past participants in these events are encouraged to apply and will have guaranteed acceptance.
