Amanda Post Memorial Soccer Tournament

Kick off the spring season with this strictly small-sided tournament! This annual event is open to U08 to U12 Premier and Classic teams. In 2018, this event brought teams from Maryland and Pennsylvania to play at the Bob Lucido Fields at Covenant Park in Ellicott City, Maryland. Players competed in six brackets following a championship format. This annual tournament is dedicated to the memory of Amanda Josephine Post.

In Loving Memory of Amanda Post
The Amanda Post Memorial Tournament is a tournament that has a lot of meaning not only to the organizations and participants of this event, but also the community around it. This annual tournament is dedicated to the memory of Amanda Josephine Post, who passed away in 2009 during her freshman year at River Hill High School and in her ninth year as a Soccer Association of Columbia/Howard County soccer player, when she developed complications from a bone marrow transplant (BMT) for her relapsed Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML). more >>

Donation Drive

The Soccer Association of Columbia/ Howard County and Elite Tournaments are proud to announce we will be hosting a donation drive for the Children’s Hospital at Sinai during the 2019 Amanda Post Memorial Tournament. We are excited to continue this initiative for the 2019 event.

While Amanda was battling Acute Myeloid Leukemia, instead of playing soccer, she would spend months at a time at the Children’s Hospital at Sinai. In memory of Amanda’s strength and effort, we would like to invite you all to donate items that will benefit the children and families receiving treatment at that same facility. The Samuelson Children’s Hospital at Sinai helps patients fight a wide variety of childhood illnesses and treats patients on both a local and national level. We appreciate the testament to Amanda’s memory and thank you all for helping her passion for others live on through this generous act of kindness.

All items can be dropped off at Covenant Park during the Amanda Post Memorial Tournament. If you have any questions or would like to donate and cannot attend the event, please contact Cara Martin at
