Through the Community Foundation of Howard County, the Amanda Post Memorial Fund has now awarded $70,000 to fourteen (14) “winning” SAC student-athletes; and collectively with the Amanda Post “AmandaWins” River Hill High School Student-Athlete Scholarship, the fund has awarded an overall total of $145,000 to twenty-nine (29) SAC and RHHS student-athletes in eleven years.

Below are the 2021 awardees for Amanda’s The Amanda Post “AmandaWins” SAC/HC Student-Athlete Scholarship:
Jillian Lewis, Howard HS
Intends to study engineering at Sweet Briar College
- played club soccer with SAC for 12 years and coached a SAC U-8 girls team
- member of Howard swim club team; member of CATY Barracudas swim team
- National Honor Society; National Science Honor Society; National Math Honor Society; member of the Women’s Engineering Club; member of Howard HS Lion Leader program; Special Olympics four-year volunteer for both soccer and swimming; swim coach for the Phelps Luck CNSL team; and volunteered at Phelps Luck Elementary School
Katherine Ringer, Glenelg HS
Intends to enroll in pre-med studies at the University of Maryland-College Park
- played club soccer with SAC for 3 years
- co-captain of the varsity soccer team
- Spanish Honor Society; member of the Key Club service organization; volunteered at the Aicardi Syndrome Foundation
Each $5,000 scholarship in Amanda’s memory is awarded to help defray Jillian’s and Katherine’s expenses during each’s freshman year of college.
