The Columbia Kickoff

 











 

Overview

Payment Deadline:

August 7th is the deadline for payment. We will not start accepting teams or processing payments until August 8th - a notification will be sent out before we start processing payments. 

 

Game Format:

The game format will be altered due to the state's guidelines in respect to the current health situation right now. By using the "6 game; 3 mini, 3 full game format", it fundamentally allows teams to stay at the field complex all day tailgating and bonding. This unfortunately would not be sanctioned by US Youth Soccer if it were to remain the same as we would not be able to uphold the current return-to-play procedures and restrictions. The event will be a traditional tournament - 3 (50 minute) game guarantee with opportunity for a Final. While we are just as disappointed as you are. yes, we love the format too!... this is a necessary change to allow the players the opportunity to be back on the field competing with their friends. This is a one-year change as we hope to be back to some normalcy by the next Gettysburg Tournament.

o   NO birth certificates will be allowed.
